Electrical

The Electrical category covers vehicle and machine electrical-system components. You will find alternators, starters, sensors (temperature, pressure, level), relays, fuses, wiring harnesses, connectors and switches. A healthy electrical system is essential for every vehicle system to function properly — from engine starting to hydraulic control.

In construction and agricultural machines the electrical system is exposed to moisture, vibration and dust. Sensor and connector failures account for a significant share of machine downtime, which is why we stock components with elevated environmental ratings (IP67/IP69K).

Frequently asked questions

Which sensors most often need replacing?

Coolant temperature sensors, oil pressure sensors and fuel level sensors — these are components exposed to corrosion and vibration. In machines with DPF also exhaust-gas temperature sensors and particulate-filter differential-pressure sensors.

How do I recognise a faulty alternator?

Symptoms include: charging light on the dashboard, low voltage reading (below 13.5 V with engine running), rapid battery discharge, whining or squealing near the alternator. Measuring charging voltage with a voltmeter is the quickest diagnostic.

Can alternators and starters be rebuilt?

Yes — rebuilding (replacing bearings, brushes, voltage regulator, bendix drive) is often economical, especially in heavy machines where OEM components are expensive. A rebuilt alternator should deliver the same current output as new.
